IntelliCal USB Light Source - Emission Line Source for Intelligent Spectrograph Calibration This compact light source features high stability and produces spectral lines necessary for wavelength calibration. Mercury has widely spaced emission lines ranging from 253.65nm to the 576.96 & 579.07 nm doublet, while Ar and Ne cover the visible and NIR range. This quasi-CW USB-powered source includes both mercury and neon-argon lamps mounted in a flange that matches the slit body of the Acton Series and IsoPlane spectrometers. PI offers several different fiberoptic bundles designed specifically for use with Acton Series or SpectraPro monochromators and spectrographs. Standard bundles come with 200-µm-diameter fibers in either silica for UV-VIS, or anhydrous silica for VIS-NIR applications. Fibers are arranged as a slit pattern (in a 10-mm-diameter ferrule) on the spectrograph end, with a round configuration (in SMA 905 connectors) on the source end. | |
